I spent most of today applying the dots to the background with pva and once dry coating them with anothoer 'sealing coat' to ensure they are firmly in place and suitable for moulding over. I had hoped this would be done by midday but it took must of the day as i needed more dots than I thought I would. I remade one of the points using fastcase as i noticed there was a defective one that wasnt set properly, again probably down to bad mixing.


The textured effect turned out alot better than I had expected (pics below show texture around lettering and the full star arrangement) and although time consuming I am confident it will be worth it once its moulded and cast in resin.
