The clear cast sample segment did'nt work that well. The tutors said it could be a number of things, issues with the laqour barrier I sprayed prossible preventing the resin from curing, the barrier not stopping the resin from making contact with the silicone. Either way I didnt work, The edges were very rough and distorted and like the regular polyester resin it was very tacky even after a day of curing time!

That aside, I used my acrylic master for my samples board instead (tutors idea!). I laser cut the samples board out (using too high a setting for the cutting lines as it was burnt to a crisp! The edging didnt matter really as it cleaned up really well. However I noticed that I had written bronze twice in stead of bronze and brass! Incredibly annoying. I'll see if I can book on the laser for tomorrow. If not it should'nt be too much of a problem and as the tutors said they would like to use the board after the project I should probably retify it later.

All of my efforts are now going into finilising my research file. After that I have the report, Portfolio pages and crit next Wednesday.
