More writing..

Came up with rough mock brief outline to give to the head of exhibitions at the IWM presented as follows:

'The space must give an impression of what it would have felt like to be in London during a bombing raid.
This can be achieved using a combination of Photographic imagery, Replicated surroundings, Sounds and Light (Health and Safety must be considered at all times) and characters involved with the scene.
The exhibition must include:
· A look at the London home and efforts made to protect residents. (Taped glass, Anderson shelters ect)
· A look at the chaotic effects a bomb could cause to a street and its houses
· A look at the men and women fighting fires and aiding the rescue of trapped residents
· Search lights/Anti Aircraft guns (Interactive sit down and touch type installations)
· A look at the daytime recovery process
· A memorial to those who lost their lives in the bombing. Plaques paying special tribute to the efforts of the AFS and NFS throughout the war'

This will act as a simple starting point to expand on the details of the exhibition and allow the curator to explain and expand on how the exhibiton brief would be taken further.

I have emailed the head of exhibitions awith a basic look at the brief idea (Already informed her on the phone and she asked for a simplified version of what i would like to ask her)
Hopefully she will reply to confirm the visit. If not I will call her on Wednesday to make sure its still on.

Filled out the References section of my LA but may expand it further as a read more.
